The Club Car Front Strut Set for the 2004 and Up Precedent golf carts serve several purposes. The first and most apparent is supporting the roof. There would be nothing to hold the top up without these metal struts. This means your golf cart would be a convertible that does not convert back. We are not sure if you get the daily rainstorms we do down here in Florida, but a top is essential. Your windshield is also held on by these front supports. Some use clamps, and others have pre-drilled holes for screws. Either way, it's better than an open hole.
